This morning drawing inspiration from Brian Eno – Music for airports and the ongoing disruption being caused by the Twitter feed #Ashtag the ash cloud incident caused by the volcano eruption. I created the scene #Ashtag for RJDJ. For those waiting in airports or stuck travelling and stressed owing to the #ashtag. For Relaxing in the garden staring at empty skies. Very sensitive so go somewhere fairly quite. Drift off…..
The above photos was taken when recording looking at the skies, no trials, no planes….nothing. Listen to my Recording in the eerily quiet garden owing to the #Ashtag.
Summer has arrived and this morning i worked on a delicate reactive and generative music patch to accompany me sitting in the mountains. It is currently in testing at the moment, I have some glitching issues with it when physically using it, however, if you record the recording comes out glitch free. This is the scene so far, this recording taken on the edge of a mountain, high in the snow capped Brecon Beacons. A Really nice moment….
Llangors lake on the edge of the Brecon Beacons has some beautiful scenery and the acoustic ecology is thriving. Natural sounds in a vast open space provided an unmissable opportunity for some RJDJ recordings in scenes I have created. To document this further I have included some imagery of where the recording spots were. In one of the later recordings with camera in the title you can hear the images being taken in by the digital SLR by photographer @Lucy_Gold.

Today I took a drive to LLangors lake with my I-Phone, I recorded journey there in generative and reactive scenes I have created using RJC1000′s software, recorded at the lake and my journey home.

Today I have uploaded all my latest work toward 1210 Reactive and Generative music album. Through using Pure Data, RJC1000 and RJDJ scenes are created (4 page scenes), each scene the equivalent of a reactive music track. Please feel free to listen, download, comment on the work so far……..
